Orange Cranberry Spritzer

Assalamu’alaikum 🙂

First attempt at a spritzer. Spritzer…Is that what it’s called if it has something fizzy in it? Or just if it has sprite? I dont know 😛

I saw some mocktail recipes online, and I wanted to imitate the colour gradient cuz it looked so pretty 😀

Usually people use something called grenadine for the red…which is a fancy word for pomegranate syrup. Having no pomegranate syrup available in the supermarkets nearby, I searched for an alternative: cranberry vinegar.

Worked well Alhamdulillah 🙂 So far everyone likes it.

When you mix it, it looks like this:

You can adjust the proportions to your liking. We like it like this:

Ingredients:

1/2 glass 7 Up
1/2 glass Orange juice
1 tbsp Cranberry vinegar

Pour the 7 Up over some ice cubes in a glass. Add the orange juice. Lastly add the cranberry vinegar…it will sink to the bottom. Garnish with a slice of orange if you want.

Make sure you stir before drinking! Cranberry vinegar is very intense on its own!

Enjoy!
